Volunteer Recruitment

The Magdalene Group are seeking enthusiastic & reliable volunteers for various roles within front-line services, but particularly with the Doorway women’s service, to be involved in the late evening outreach programme, daytime drop-in service, administration or client support roles.

Other opportunities include volunteer co-ordinator (approx. 5-10 hours a week) – mostly remote, but with occasional face-to-face work. A minimum commitment of one session/approx. 3-5 hours per month, good references, & a basic DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check are required.

In return, you will be provided with a robust induction, ongoing training, regular supervision, references if required, and great experience.

Due to the nature of the volunteering role, it is a General Occupational Requirement that this position be filled by a female, (Equality Act 2010.)
